Circolo Nautico 3 miglia

Located on Lungomare Tobagi, Circolo Nautico 3 Miglia has as its primary purpose the promotion of maritime culture and therefore proposes to activate in every form, knowledge of the marine environment, the practice of water sports and respect for the regulations governing navigation safety and the protection of human life.
Since 2021 Circolo Nautico 3 Miglia has been associated with F.I.P.S.A.S. (Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Underwater Activities, formerly Italian Federation of Sport Fishing), the Italian association whose purpose is the practice of sport fishing, in the sea and in fresh water, underwater activities and competitive and amateur activities practiced with the aid of fins.
The Club makes available to members services including:

• windsurfing school;
• Windsurfing courses taught by qualified instructors with a National Certificate C.S.E.N. recognized by CONI;
• Wing Foil courses which consists of moving on the water standing on a board with foil (a kind of fin that lifts the board) and holding in your hand an inflatable sail, called wing.

Among the Club’s most cherished traditions is the Winter Swim, an event open to all and non-competitive that takes place every year since 1993. The winter swimming event consists of a dive into the sea in the same way as in summer, without thermal protection and wearing only a swimsuit. No particular physical preparation is required, anyone from children to adults can do it and there is no optimal age. Every year the Winter Swim brings together over one hundred daring swimmers who in December celebrate their love for the sea.
