Civic Library
Description
Located within Palazzo Elena Pietracaprina, the Library is an important cultural reference point for the community. It offers consultation and lending services for books, magazines and other materials.
Together with the Libraries of the municipalities of Balestrino, Boissano and Toirano, it is part of the Varatella Valley Library System, of which it performs the function of System Centre.
Since 2022 the Library has been a member of MLOL, the leading online platform that allows users to access the digital lending service (e-books, music, audiobooks, films, etc.) 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
The platform allows users to digitally browse articles from major Italian and foreign newspapers and have the opportunity to stay updated, in real time, on current topics, culture, economy and much more
The service is completely free for users and content can be downloaded and read on both computers and mobile devices.
Throughout the year the Library promotes and hosts numerous creative workshops and activities dedicated to children, with the aim of introducing the youngest to reading and stimulating curiosity and imagination through engaging and educational experiences.
